I will be featured in a series of online Concept Design workshops with (CGMW) CG Master Workshops. I will be doing an Environment Design workshop on Saturday Sept, 25. The workshop is only $25 and will be streamed and available throughout the entire day for 24hrs. I will also be doing a 1hr live QandA from 3-4pm that same day. Some new ideation speed paintings I've been working on. Everyday, or every few days, a few friends paint from different themes chosen on a regular basis. It is a fun exercise and allows me to work outside my comfort genres. So far its been fun and I would really love to take advantage of these sketches and take some to a finished level.

Here are some new starts...I am exploring a new series of pieces revolving around fantasy castles and natural environments. Pushing the mood is my main goal.

Hello All,
I recently started on a new series of thumbnails for this world. Its a rusty tech/steampunk ~ish type place. I hope to get these done soon.

In other news Uncharted 2, a game I've been working on for some time now, was featured in Game Informer magazine Jan 2009 issue.

Pick up and issue for some concept art and screens from the game. Also, the official trailer for the game was released a short while ago.

The week 3 demo was concentrating taking a simple composition and adding more sub-layers to them and introducing a full value range. Lighting and texture application was also introduced at this time.

Entertainment Theme Park Concept Art

Hi Everyone,
Recently I had the pleasure to work on some concept art for GGE (Gary Goddard Entertainment). These are concepts I worked on for a theme park which would be in S. Korea. These were really fun to do and worked under a great designer, Robert Delapp.
The top is for a 'mech war' 4d show...that was fun to do. The lower images are for various areas of the park and attractions.

With the recent start of my company 'Scribble Pad Studios', things have been a bit hectic. While most of my work time is consumed with working on various projects, I found very little free time to do some personal work. These are very loose and in different stages of WIP. Other updates include working on Naught Dogs - Uncharted 2 title, Digital Art Masters Book will release sometime in July, began teaching at Gnomon Digital Arts school in Los Angeles........thats about it. It's been a busy time. Oh yea!! and Spectrum. I finally entered a piece into Spectrum 15 and got accepted so be on the look out.
